The optima light drive offers a unique combination of head and shank characteristics appropriate to the requirements of racing farriers.
Its extra slim shank minimizes horn displacement and potential damage to hoof walls whilst ample shank length offers the option to drive high or low – features which together reduce the adverse effects of shorter shoeing cycles particularly in the racing industry.
The head profile guarantees an optimum driving experience and facilitates secure clenching. The neck design makes the LIGHT DRIVE particularly suited to thinner shoes providing an excellent fit in a wide range of racing steels and aluminium plates.
